Happy 4th!
The fourth of July is my favorite Holiday. I just love its simplicity, no shopping for months for presents before hand or spending too much money on tree decorations, no hunting for weeks for a costume, no seeing scary life-size rabbits walking around the mall, and no turkey meals that make you feel like you’ve blown your diet for the next year in one sitting. Just family, fireworks, and summer food. It’s hot, you have watermelon seed spitting contests, and bake cupcakes with red white and blue sprinkles like I did last night. Hope you have a happy, wonderful 4th of July and no matter what our political views, let’s take some time to thank God for putting us in this amazing nation that preserves freedom and gives us an incomparable opportunity to worship Him without fear.
I am proud to be an American! Have a great 4th with your friends and family. All of our family will be coming over later today to grill hamburgers and make homemade ice cream and play games etc.

I think it is like another Thanksgiving day.
I have to agree wholeheartedly especially since this year I was in charge or baking the cupcakes and ate about half of the batter along the way. Argh
