Calling Out Lurkers of The Epiphany
My blog friends Maggie and Mandy have both posted on this subject and I thought I’d make my own attempt to call out my blog lurkers since I have the feeling I have a few that might comment if they knew how much it would mean to me.
Do you visit my blog regularly (at least a couple of times per month) and NEVER comment? It’s time to show yourself!! Hey - if it makes it any easier you can make up an anonymous name (oh but I would love it so much if you would just come all the way out if I know you as a friend or acquaintance.)
I’ll give you something specific to comment about if that helps:
I want to know:
1) how often you visit- give me your best guess
2) how you found the site
3) why you return for more visits
4) if you have a blogsite of your own
You can answer any one or all of these and I will be THRILLED.
Now it’s your turn…
I comment occasionally, but since I subscribe to your blog, I definitely read much more than I comment. I’ll have to do something about that.
I really like your blog, too… btw. I think we would definitely be friends irl if we lived closer!

I wouldn’t really consider myself a lurker…am I??? But I wanta answer the Q’s anyway…just for fun…

OK…so I think I comment often enough to not be a “lurker”, but I thought I’d answer your questions anyway!

-maybe 4-5 times/week - i should probably just subscribe so I know when you’ve updated!
2) how you found the site
-through your facebook, i think
3) why you return for more visits
-I love your insight, and also reading some of the updates on what’s happening in my old stompin’ grounds
4) if you have a blogsite of your own

Hey girl! I guess I am definitely a lurker. I should comment more… shame on me!
1) I visit your site a few times a month. I really look forward to it when I make the time to read your entries.
2) Wow, its been so long ago, I don’t remember how I first found out about it. Maybe on your AIM profile, or your myspace page?
3) Well, I love how you bring the gospel into your day to day struggles. Whenever I am feeling down, I usually check your blog out and I definitely feel better afterwards. Your writing is real, and everyone can relate.

Bassie - thank you for all the info, I am so glad you find my site uplifting (I feel like I do a lot of complaining and venting - not so uplifting). I will check out your site more often too

Hi! I wouldn’t say I’m a “lurker” more than I am the occasional visitor.
1) how often you visit: 1-2 times a month
2) how you found the site: you have a link to my blog on your blog
3) why you return for more visits: I admire your outward commitment to the Lord.
4) if you have a blogsite of your own: I believe you already know it
… vthokiefans.wordpress.com, which is my Virginia Tech sports blog. Though, I do have an all encompassing blog that includes Hokie sports, other sports and life in general: hacksawcope.blogspot.com.

I must have missed this one the last time I stopped by. Oops!
1) Lately I visit a few times a month but now that things are setteling I’ll be back to my daily visits.
2) I’m not sure how I found your site, I think I looked up Christian or faith in WordPress and you were one of the sites I read.
3) I come back because I like the way you write, topics and you have a nice site.
4) I totally do! Bustedmg.worpress.com I call myself Busted which is short for Busted Flipflop. My real name is Michele which just isn’t as much fun as Busted.
