Ok, so since my last throw-it-out-there-question crashed and burned (apparently my blog circle shuts down on weekends), I thought i’d try this again.
What is one quality you HAVE to have in a friend?
My Answer: Stability - I have a hard time getting the most from a friendship if the other party is unstable (i.e. insecure, undependable, needy…)
My blog friends Maggie and Mandy have both posted on this subject and I thought I’d make my own attempt to call out my blog lurkers since I have the feeling I have a few that might comment if they knew how much it would mean to me.
Do you visit my blog regularly (at least a couple of times per month) and NEVER comment? It’s time to show yourself!! Hey - if it makes it any easier you can make up an anonymous name (oh but I would love it so much if you would just come all the way out if I know you as a friend or acquaintance.)
I’ll give you something specific to comment about if that helps:
I want to know:
1) how often you visit- give me your best guess
2) how you found the site
3) why you return for more visits
4) if you have a blogsite of your own
You can answer any one or all of these and I will be THRILLED.
Now it’s your turn…
I have a sneaking suspicion this week is the calm between two storms. The first, of course, being the storm of chaos surrounding Christmas festivities. A good chaos that I always enjoy.
Hopefully, another storm of hectic activity and busyness is on its way in January. That job I’ve been hoping/praying for should open up any day now. Even if the job doesn’t work out, I have other opportunities to add to my part-time freelancing/music teaching schedule that I expect to cause a significant increase in responsibilities to my week. I just have to endure until after the first of January and then 2008 will bring the change in pace I have needed for so long. In the meantime, however, I am allowing myself to rest up and take care of some random chores and errands before new demands hit.
